100+ Generative AI Use Cases Across Industries

Hey Reader!

Over the last year, I have been working with several colleagues and customers on Generative AI to assist them in how they can get benefits out of it and how it can assist them in solving different business problems. As the field is new for everyone, including myself, I searched a lot over here and there, and the key question came. Whenever any new technology comes into play, how do you benefit from it, or how do you use it in the different businesses across different industries?

Fortunately, we also have these consulting companies: Gartner, IDC, McKinsey, PwC, BCG etc, etc. They put much effort into creating content around these new technologies and then open source companies who help strive for the wider world.

So the key question started coming:

  • What do we do with this Generative AI?
  • What common use cases can be utilized and adopted in the organization?

This also led me to do some research; for example, my first interaction was to find out the use cases for the retail industry, and that's how I wrote about Gen AI in the Retail Industry in this edition of the newsletter.

Now, after so many months, I have quite good resources on generative AI, so I thought I would put them together, and that is how this guide or ebook was created. Your Guide to Generative AI Use Cases Across Industries is a curated list of many use cases that can assist you in getting the idea and then working further on it to refine and make it useful for your organization.

AI Tech Circle Hey Reader! This week, I had a chance to dig deep into the report published by the German Federal Office for Information Security, "Generative AI Models - Opportunities and Risks for Industry and Authorities." This report has covered a few areas, such as the planning, development, and operation phases of generative AI models, where a systematic risk analysis should be conducted. For those of us involved in organizational projects that employ Large language models, it's crucial...

AI Tech Circle Hey Reader! I am back this week after taking a break for the Eid holidays. Recently, the UAE experienced the heaviest rainfall in its history, which posed significant challenges. The UAE leadership stepped forward to address the situation, and civil service departments and volunteers worked tirelessly day and night to support the residents affected by the heavy rain. This week started with the event 'MachinesCanSee' at the Museum of the Future, Dubai. It was quite a good...

AI Tech Circle Hey Reader! This weekend, my attention was drawn to the lecture from Yann LeCun, a Professor at NYU and Chief AI Scientist at Meta, titled 'Objective-Driven AI: Towards AI systems that can learn, remember, reason, plan, have common sense, yet are steerable and safe' and four design patterns for agents from Andrew Ng. The holiday period has started, and there will be no newsletter next week. An advance Eid Mubarak to whoever is celebrating. The first slide of 97 Slidedeck starts...
